Description
Helmcken Falls, Wells Gray Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada.
Well, we got up at 4:30 am to drive up to Wells Gray this morning, and I was so stoked to see these falls again. The blue ice was an awesome unexpected surprise! It has not yet been cold enough for the infamous "snow cone" to develop, but these falls never fail to amaze me.
I named this piece "Flux" because the mist and weather changes so quickly here. Several minutes after this shot, the waterfall was almost unseeable because a heavy fog decided to settle in suddenly. Below is a photo of Helmcken during the summer and very heavy waterflow.
Used: Canon 5D MKII, 70-200 f/2.8
Thank you for looking

This is an amazing scene, the blue ice looks stunning and it's great to see a comparison to how it would appear in the summer.
