The frost on the trees was stunning - in my life I had never seen such intense frost.

An excellent use of negative space and tonal colourfields to give an abstracted composition with a hint of the surreal; this feels like some sort of dreamscape, and that is an aesthetic I am fond of. Good stuff.

Lovely minimalistic almost abstract like shot. Very eye catching, the initial thought of a simplistic composition is immediately dismissed when realising the effort taken to capture the view. The exposure being just right to produce the perfect end result. I find this a very appealing and relaxing scene to study. The only thing i would have done differently would have been to crop out the very top bit of blue sky. for me the shot would be all the stronger for that gone. But we all think in different ways. superb work anyway. Simon

I like the sky with the bit of pink in it, and the lighting makes it look soft and heavenly.
