First ever outing with some filters. Went to an old swimming place my buddies and I used to bike to when we were kids to catch the sunset. (Shuswap Lake, British Columbia, Canada)

Used: Canon 5D MKII, Canon 17-40 f/4L, B+W 77mm Kaesemann Circular Polarizer Slim MRC Filter, Singh-Ray 4x6" Graduated Neutral Density (3-stop) Optical Resin Filter, and a tripod.

Thanks for looking :)

Wow. :o
The amazing, vibrant colours, the great quality and composition-- everything. Just... wow. :o
The only thing I find disturbing is the clump of grass. I'm not sure why, the contrast between the colours are great and everything, but the way it's just smack there in the middle just doesn't work with me, looks a little odd. Which is really my problem anyway, so it's a great shot altogether anyway!

Lol, the grass is something I found startling as well. I also have an issue with it - thank you for your honesty :D

My only complaint would be that this looks *too* perfect. I know, that doesn't make sense. It is very beautiful, but my mind has a hard time believing it is real. (I'm not accusing you of faking anything, don't get that idea.) It's just so gorgeous, it looks too good to be true.

Aww, these colours... incredible beautiful!!! :)
I just noticed that these plants are a like blurred? Did you do it by editing or did it happen for itself? Though it is a little blurry (or maybe BECAUSE it is a little blurry?), it's absolutely exciting somehow! :)
Hope you enjoyed your day over there!

Actually, the pieces of grass are blurred due to motion/ wind because the shutter was open long enough to capture the movement :) thank you for your comment!
