More commonly known as the "Allen's Hummingbird."

The males are smaller than the females!

The Allen's Hummingbird flares his tail feathers in a territorial threat display, but it is also thought to be part of the mating process as well.

Used: Canon EOS 5D MK II
Canon 70-200 f2.8L series lens
And evasion skills as the hummingbirds zoomed over and around me to get to the feeders :)

I thought it was at first, but I think it's an Allen's Hummingbird. They both look very similar, I need a hummingbird expert to tell me! Haha.
