Abraham Lake, Alberta, Canada.

This lake is known widely for the methane bubbles that get trapped in the ice every winter. I was able to find some in the warm weather that we had (Disclaimer: always check thickness of ice before stepping on to it ) but not really the crazy stacked ones under a clear pane of ice as I was hoping. Regardless, after a 4:00am wakeup to make the drive all the way up to the lake to catch sunrise, I was pretty happy that the weather cooperated and that there even was a sunrise.
